Well, I must admit I don't know a lot about the electronic resources we have available. I use Worldcat for Interlibrary Loans if I can't find a title in ALEPH. I direct patrons to the Ancestry information, but have never used it myself. I am proficient using Overdrive and teaching patrons how to use it to check out e-books and audio-books, but I don't know anything about e-books on EBSCO.
I hope by taking this challenge, I will force myself to take time to play around with the different electronic resources. I would love to be able to show our patrons how to access and use the resources that are right at their fingertips.
I just hope I will stay on-track with the classwork. I'm afraid I'll get carried away with the day-to-day activities in our library and get behind. Oh well, anything I learn from this course will be that much more than I know now. I'm looking forward to this opportunity.
